CURRENT ISSUES
The Farm Bureau tries to keep abreast of any issues affecting agriculture at the local, state and national levels. If any of our members have an issue affecting agriculture or rural life that they are concerned about we encourage them to contact one of our board members or our Farm Bureau office.

LEGISLATIVE
The Farm Bureau serves as a watchdog for legislation and issues affecting our farmer members and agriculture. We have outstanding staff at the state level that keeps watch on legislation or other issues that might have an impact on agriculture and lobby for the best interest of our farmer members. They use our farmer created policy book when issues come up in Springfield or Washington DC to speak to them on our members’ behalf.

Info Coming Soon!POLICY/POLICY DEVELOPMENT
The Farm Bureau prides itself on being a grassroots organization. We take direction from the local level and set policy for the state organization. A farmer member submits a concerns and we create a resolution to address those concerns. We then take that resolution to the Illinois Farm Bureau for consideration for policy. The Illinois Farm Bureau policy book consists of resolutions that have been submitted from farmers all over the state of Illinois.
